Excel is powerful yet flexible, multi-purpose, and therefore, the best tool to bridge the gap between ERP / accounting systems and accountants’ everyday needs. Becoming better in Excel will no doubt improve accountants’ work efficiency.
Becoming good at Excel is not about how many functions you know; it is about how well you can apply that few functions you know (very well) to the context and achieve your objective.

Mr. Mike Ng, ACA, BFP, CA (Singapore), is a Microsoft Excel Expert. He is a passionate accountant and an Excel enthusiast, with more than 10 years of accounting experience and more than 25 years of Excel experience. He started his career as an external auditor at a Big 4 public accounting firm and managed a big portfolio consisting of clients from the real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, and trading industries. In his most recent appointment as a financial controller of a commercial firm, he spearheads the full spectrum of finance functions. Apart from his wealth of finance experience, he is involved in ERP implementation projects. He has also conducted numerous in-house training in his previous roles.
