Course Description
This 2-Day classroom course aims to equip and update beauty, wellness, grooming, and hairstyling professionals on basic hygiene, safety & health principles, and practices to enable them to function effectively in their respective roles in the service industry. As hygiene, safety and health are an integral part of service delivery, professionals in these service areas have an important role to play to ensure that their own safety & health and those of the clients they serve are not compromised.
The objective is to provide beauty, wellness, grooming, and hairstyling professionals with the basic knowledge on hygiene & grooming, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning & disinfection, 6s concept of Housekeeping, and workplace safety & health (WSH).

Infection Control Expert
Sm Tianseng (STS) is the principal trainer and founder of STS Academia. He provided training and consultancy on Infection Control, Quality & Safety to hospitals and institutions in Singapore and the region. STS had worked previously as a chief infection control officer at Parkway Pantai Hospitals in Singapore for more than 10 years and served as a lecturer at Parkway College. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Flinders University, the Master of Health Administration program conducted in Singapore since 2012.
